Three people were injured when the floor of one of the rooms in Toledo's Conde de Orgaz Parador collapsed yesterday (23-11-06). Renovation works are being carried out in the parador, although the exact reasons for the accident are not yet clear. The couple staying in the room were seriously hurt, but a building worker who was in the reception area below was only slightly injured. Paradores de España is currently renovating eight establishments, including some of its most emblematic hotels such as the Toledo parador.

The eight paradors being renovated are de El Saler (in Valencia), Toledo, Granada, Antequera, Mojácar, Argómaniz (in Álava in the Basque Country), Puebla de Sanabria in the province of Zamora, and Málaga del Golf.
