*Aragón

SPV article introducing you to the modern region of Aragón, once a kingdom in its own right. What to do, what to see, where to stay, and eating and drinking. Plus a look at each of its three provinces - Huesca, Saragossa (Zaragoza) and Teruel.

Aragón.net

Sample of the English on this site: "A navigation way by Internet which is the product of coordinated efforts and due to its usefulness." What was that definition of a committee? Waste of bandwidth, except for the section "Websites in Aragonese" mentioned below.

Routes in Aragón

It is not very clear who these people are, but they are not the Aragonese Tourist Board. Still, this clickable map gives you a useful overview of the touristic possibilities of the region, although it is very old-fashioned, not all the links work and it is, unfortunately, in Spanish only.

STAR

The "Aragón Tourism Server," though superseded by the Aragón Tourist Board site below, still holds some good material, especially under "Rutas Turísticas." Keep clicking, the English-language version will appear sooner or later.

Turismo de Aragón  Popular

Raggety English and inexplicable domain name change aside, the regional tourist board's website is very nice indeed. "Visual Aragón" contains "virtual visits," i.e., 360º photos, and other pics; "Guide of Arágón" contains practical information like accommodation (with a nice subsection on "Inns of Aragón"); "Activities" suggests different ways to spend your holidays; and "Get to know Aragón" tells you about its history, gastronomy, fiestas and so forth.

Websites in Aragonese

Aragonese is a Romance language spoken by around 10,000 people, most of whom I would guess learn it as a second language, i.e., it is of mainly academic interest. But if your Spanish is of a reasonable level, Aragonese is easy enough to follow, and flicking through these links is undeniably a different form of time-wasting.
