Ernest Hemingway in Pamplona
A reflexive article about Hemingway's relationship with Pamplona and Sanfermines. To be honest (and not that the article is in any way not first rate), there is such a lot of stuff like this around that I more or less picked it at random from the many similar pieces on the Net.Added on: 08-Feb-2005 | hits: 234

Kukuxumusu
This is the best website dedicated to the famous sanfermines (July 6th-14th) in Pamplona, maintained by Kukuxumusu (pronounced coocoochoomoosoo, with the accent on the moo). Kukuxumusu is a true Internet success story, a group of young people who saw the potential of the web to sell their designs, so their ultimate aim is to sell you t-shirts, for example. Do not be put off, the site is exemplary, fun to navigate and as informative as anywhere else, while the commercial side is so low-key you practically do not notice it (Kukuxumusu has grown deservedly fat and now has physical outlets (i.e., shops) in a number of Spanish cities).Added on: 08-Feb-2005 | hits: 246

Pamplona Bull Run
For many if not most people, the central event of Sanfermines is the bull run - it is certainly the most idiosyncratic. Here, WhatsonWhen gets uncharacteristically subjective, enthusiastic and breathless ("an event that people tell their grandchildren about..." "Pamplona is fantastic..." "risking their lives to outpace galloping, frenzied bulls as they hurtle..."), and they are all appropriate.Added on: 08-Feb-2005 | hits: 415

Pamplona's Running Of The Nudes
Every year, thousands of people from around the world come to Pamplona prior to the “Running of the Bulls” to experience PETA’s “Running of the Nudes”. Anyone can participate in the Running of the Nudes, which is performed with such passion and positive energy that it’s a tourist attraction in its own right. It’s a fun event that reminds tourists and Spaniards alike that they can take part in an animal-friendly celebration while still enjoying the city of Pamplona and Spanish culture.Added on: 10-Apr-2006 | hits: 168
