Isla de Tabarca

As this personal website explains, Tabarca Island is the "Only inhabited island in the Land of Valencia. Declared Natural Marine Reserve. Center for top sea cuisine. It is an enjoyable visit from Alicante, to which municipality it belongs (about an hour by boat), or from Santa Pola, off which it lies.

Isla de Tabarca

Spanish-only page with great photos. It is interesting to note that Tabarca depends not on the Ministry of the Environment like most nature reserves, but on the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food.
