Câmara Municipal de Sintra 

At spitting distance from Lisbon, set in green hills and holding a wealth of historic buildings, Sintra is a draw in itself, and a must-see for anyone staying in the capital or on the coast nearby for more than a day or two. The link goes to the website of its town council, but is not in the least municipal, covering the town, its history, sights and museums, gastronomy, eating out, accommodation and festivals, with a special page for the resurrected tramway which connects Sintra to the beach, specifically the Praia das Maçãs.
