Not the second-largest city in Colombia famous for its drug cartel, but a village in the heart of Extremadura, only very slightly famous for being the birthplace of Hernán Cortés, the man who conquered Mexico with a mere 700 men. This is the municipal website, or as near to one as exists, and its lack of professionalism is amply compensated for by a wealth of interesting information.
