A curious little place on the west-facing Atlantic coast of the Algarve, on the Costa Vicentina and within the Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano, Aljezur has two town centres. Its seafood enjoys a certain fame. The link goes to its municipal website, unsurprisingly in Portuguese only.
