Cadaqués is a fishing village next to the Cap de Creus. Salvador Dali spent boyhood summer holidays here, and it has long been a favourite artists' haunt, not just for that reason. It is overvisited, but still charming, road access being thankfully poor. The link goes to the Catalan-only municipal website.

The municipal site being unsatisfactory from an English-speaker's point of view, I include this page from a site called Cap Creus Online, dedicated to news from the Empurdà regions (upper and lower), iointly more or less synonymous with the Costa Brava.
