Unregistered User Spanimal.org, Spain's first national animal adoption network has just been launched at http://www.spanimal.org.

Spanimal.org is a bilingual online database which has been created to fulfill the urgent need for a central animal adoption network to serve all animal welfare organisations in Spain. The Spanish version will be available shortly, we are actively seeking translation volunteers!

As the Spanimal system is completely automated, registered users can upload the details and photographs of the animals in their care and have them published online in real-time. Individuals seeking to provide a home for a
specific animal simply complete an online enquiry form or contact the rescue organisation direct by phone.

The Spanimal.org online database was created and is run by volunteers. The resource is being offered free of charge to all of Spain's animal welfare organisations and individuals involved in animal rescue and homing. We do
not accept any animals for sale or where there is a vendor profiting from a sale.

Our hope is that Spanimal.org will become the first stop for Spain's residents seeking a new pet as well as for the many individuals and organisations desperately seeking good homes for the animals in their care.

We already have the Costa Animal Society (CAS), Malaga registered with us and their animals are now online at http://www.spanimal.org.
